PianARobicsTM
began as jazz and
improvisation lessons taught by Don Hurless to his piano students who
were interested in learning how to play in a jazz style. Originally,
the course consisted of mimeographed sheets of weekly lessons given out
to these students to work on in addition to their classical lessons.
Over the years, many students commented that once at college, they were
able to test out of theory classes, due to the jazz training by
Hurless. And many wished they still had those loose-leaf
pages to refer to from time to time.
That's when Hurless decided to put the package together in both video
and print lessons, and PianARobicsTM
was born. (Read
